North American Release of The Azure Sea's Seven combines two releases into one pack
Bandai North American has opted to fold part of Extra Booster Egghead Crisis [EB04] into the current release of The Azure Sea's Seven [OP14]. This inclusion does not cover the entire EB04 release though, as cards EB04-001 through EB04-010 are missing from the American release. Those cards are not yet appearing in the NA card database but we might see them in future releases or promos. The EB04 set is not set to release until January 31st and the set it not in the Asian database yet so we don't know what cards we are missing out on.
The combination of these two sets will alter the math for people who like to open boxes instead. The set will contain the standard full 120 + 8 reprints from the OP14, but also 31 cards from EB04. This means the set will have 15 SR rarity cards in the release. Even with optimal luck this mean a collector would need to open at least 3 boxes to get all the SR cards. EB04 also adds to the special reprint pool, with a alt art version of Eustass "Captain" Kid [EB04-039], Edward Weevil [EB01-023], and Roronoa Zoro [PRB02-006] in addition to the 8 standard special art cards of the set.
Database card text differences
It is also notable that as of this set's release [January 17, 2026] the Bandai TCG+ database has different card text than the official One Piece card list and printed card text. Most of the differences appear to be due to translation variances. Particularly when it comes to the Fish Men, where the unofficial card text seems to be more dependent on the Fish Men type. For example, OP14-045 is listed "...[On K.O.] If your Leader has the {Fish-Man} type, draw 2 cards." but the NA printing is just "...[On K.O.] Draw 1 card." Others have very different effects such as Aladine OP14-043 which is printed as "[On Play] Play up to 1 {Fish-Man} or {Merfolk} type Character card with a cost of 3 or less from your hand. [On K.O.] Draw 1 card." but in the TCG+ database it says "[On Play] / [On K.O.] Play up to 1 Character card with a cost of 3 or less and the type {Fish-Man} or {Merfolk} from your hand." Taking away the card draw but adding another of the triggers to play a card.
